It started with a tweet. Famed producer Frank Marshall posted, "Something big is coming. Can't say anything yet. No one should know too much about their own destiny. #BTTF" The obvious Back to the Future reference and hashtag sent the interwebz aflutter with theories of a remake or sequel. What was actually revealed was something I never expected to see. I'll give you a hint: it's not the sports almanac.
That's right, Nike is actually making the self-lacing shoes that Marty (and Marty Jr.) wear in Back to the Future 2! Nike had the technology patented last year and there were rumblings then that this could be in the works. 1500 pairs of these shoes will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Michael J.
