The Death of Osama Bin Laden (the Comic Book?)

Now here's one comic book death that I hope sticks.

GQ magazine is featuring an illustrated account of the raid in Osama Bin Laden called "For God and Country" and it's written by current "Marvel Architect" Matt Fraction and illustrated by Nathan Fox. Luckily for us, it's also available online. Click on the image below to access the impressive interpretation of the mission.

Impressed by what Fraction did there? Do yourself a favor and check out Casanova, Invincible Iron Man and his run on the Punisher War Journal. He's one of the most talented comic writers out there today, in my humble opinion, and he works with some incredible artists.

Finally, proving once again that nobody stays dead in comics anymore, Erik Larsen is handling an unofficial sequel of sorts. Don't miss Savage Dragon 177 for more (admittedly much more light-hearted Osama action). Niiiiiice.
