Following the attacks of September 11th, Frank Miller of Sin City fame began writing "Batman vs. Al Qaeda” aka “Holy Terror, Batman! ” Seriously. I promise I’m not messing with you.
Over the course of writing it, Miller decided that he was taking the actions of the main character a little far for him to be Batman, so he “changed” him to “The Fixer.” A character absolutely unlike Batman (in any way whatsoever) that’s out to kick terrorist ass.
Well 10 years later it’s been renamed, “Holy Terror,” and it’s coming out on the anniversary of 9/11.
This trailer looks good, but I still have an intensely bad taste in my mouth from Miller’s last two Batman stories, “All-Star Batman” and “Dark Knight Strikes Again.” So … fingers crossed.
